The Levels and Abilities of Lucidea
LEVELING
If you don't bother to read this tab, and simply look at the list below, the leveling system for Lucidea might seem a little bit complicated to you. Luckily, if you're reading this, you aren't an idiot, so that's good!
Progressing in Lucidea consists of a max 50 levels. You start at level 0, and are required to make an "experience quota" before you can reach your next level up. For example, the quota from level 0 to 1 is 50 experience. Once you've gained 50 experience, the quota resets to it's new version. What this means is, seeing as the quota from 1 to 2 is 112, you must get ANOTHER 112 experience to level up. The 50 you had previous DOES NOT count towards this goal. However, any extra experience will be transferred over. Your current level and experience quota meter { expowned/expneeded} will show up under your name in the "Members" page.
NOTABLE REWARDS AS YOU LEVEL:
Every level: gain a "skill point" (see below). Every 10 levels, you get 5 skill points instead of 1. You also gain 8 stat points (see stat page)
Level 15: Access 'Profession' (See profession tab) (Only on main class)
Level 25: You are now able to choose a secondary class. This class can only reach up to level 25. (You will be asked how much of your xp you want split into each class) You still gain ability points for each level of this class, as well as 5 per each 10 levels (as well as 5 for hitting level 25)
Level 15(second class): You can now start pitching abilities that use a combination of BOTH your classes)
The list below is more so for Mods, but feel free to take a look at it anyway.

How To Gain Experience:
There are multiple ways for your character to gain experience as they traverse the world of Lucidea, each unique in their own way. The major ways of gaining experience will scale based on your level, so don't worry too much about the insane numbers above. (NOTE, LEVEL MULTIPLICATION COUNTS FOR PRIMARY TREE ONLY)
_ONCE A DAY ACTIVITIES_
Physical Training: Pretty obvious. Write a post about your character training his/her physical body.
EXPERIENCE: 10xp multiplied by Level
Energy Training: Any sort of training that involves you practising your abilities or honing your energies.
EXPERIENCE:
Basic Usage: 5xp multiplied by level
Regular Training: 10 multiplied by level
Harsh Training: 15xp multiplied by level
Extreme Training: 20xp multiplied by level
Random Enemy Encounter: Once a day, you can enter a random enemy encounter. Make sure that the encounter makes sense for the area your character is located in (so if you're in the middle of MutantBane Fortress, it's unlikely you're fighting a creature from Chillbrace. Maybe muggers?), and also fits the level area of your character.
EXPERIENCE:
5xp to 15xp multiplied by level. Experience depends on quality of the post, and how well you stuck to your lore.
Profession: After level 15, you are able to choose a profession that allows your character to earn extra income in the community. These professions also allow you to earn small amounts of experience. Write a post working as your profession to earn this experience (see profession tab for more info)
EXPERIENCE:
1xp to 5xp multiplied by level. Experience depends on quality of post. Most posts will earn full 5xp.
Daily Task: Every day (or maybe every few days, either way you can just repeat it) there will be a general daily task printed on one of the Location pages. If you complete this task within the location page, you will earn a small amount of experience.
EXPERIENCE:
3xp multiplied by level.
Study: Reading or studying various texts found throughout the world. Unique texts will grant more experience (but will be noted by moderators) but general ones will give the regular base. Regular texts can be found in the library.
EXPERIENCE:
2xp multiplied by level per study. Two studies a day. Doubles to 4xp multiplied by level while read in library.
_Others_
Quests: Quests are special objective based campaigns that you or a group can partake in to earn experience/gold and other loot. Most of them will be posted in the "Quest Bulletin" tab by active moderators, but you can also pitch your quest ideas to us as well. Quests can only be taken once per week; and may have specific requirements before and after them (such as a no-post time limit after quest is over, etc.)
Dungeons: Every now and again, a dungeon will be posted in the "Quest Bulletin" tab, which will only be open for a short period of time (A week to Two weeks). The dungeon will have a level and a group size requirement, but if you and your party meet this requirement upon applying, a link to the dungeon will be given to you in Pm's. Harder/Riskier dungeons will give better rewards; but can also cause you to become injured/die fairly easily. Dungeons can only be done one at a time, so first come first serve.
NOTE: ALL TIME ALLOTTED ACTIVITIES REVOLVE AROUND THE CLOCKS PLACED IN VARIOUS CHAT-PAGES FOR LUCIDEA. JUST BECAUSE ITS A NEW DAY IN YOUR TIME, IT DOES NOT MEAN ITS A NEW DAY IN LUCIDEAN TIME AS WELL.
Ability Points
Ability points, as stated before, are given on each level up. There are other ways to earn ability points, such as quests, but this will still be your main way of acquiring them. Ability points are your income for pitching abilities to the moderators and approvers.
Each "energy type" comes with a handful of basic abilities that are general to the energies nature, allowing you to have a couple of skills while you gain your ability points.
To pitch an ability, simply find the approver for the class (check the class page), and pm them your request. They will get back to you when available. YOU MUST GET CONFIRMATION FROM THE APPROVER BEFORE YOU CAN USE THIS ABILITY.
