Money
Money is a pretty basic concept as well, but it may also change over the course of the role play. Money is simply a resource that can be used to buy equipment and various items during the role play. Like most fantasy type adventures, the currency is in gold (g), and it can be earned in a various number of ways. The major way to earn gold is by completing daily tasks in various areas around the map. There will be various tasks given to players in various areas, and you can complete one a day to get a combined allotment of experience and gold. Another good way is gaining a profession. Professions (see profession tab) each have a "day's work" payout, which will give you a certain amount of gold for every post that you make working at your job. If you're interested in combat based gold-farming, random encounters will also earn you a random amount of gold when you do them once per day (picture this gold being given at a later date to your character, much like a bounty for killing the enemy, it will be calculated and given during tallies).
Those are the main three ways to earn a stable, day-to-day income in Lucidea, but other opportunities WILL arise. Regular quests and dungeons, as well as specific quests will offer a various amount of loot, money being one of the main resources. Although these methods are harder to come by than the others, they will generally offer a larger payout. Even more rare; if a character breaks the law and achieves a bounty on their head, you are able to hunt them down before they pay it off to receive the bounty as payment yourself. You will only get half the bounty if you kill them, however.
